The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base.<\/p>\n

Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. Client verticals include Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce and Digital Partners, Governments and many others.<\/p>\n

Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vice President, Specialist Sales, Test & Learn\u00a0<\/a><\/h6>\n

Vice President level role focused on business development for Mastercard\u2019s Test & Learn platform, leveraged by 300+ clients globally and growing revenue with new clients in Financial Institutions from National Accounts to Community Institutions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for developing and executing the overall Test & Learn sales strategy for Financial Institution accounts within the United States to secure multimillion-dollar, multi-year deals
\n\u2022 Build and develop individual contributor pipeline through hunting new opportunities and\/or bringing over your existing relevant network of potential clients, ultimately progressing to signed platform deals
\n\u2022 Manage a team of three sellers and coach them to achieve their targets and business objectives
\n\u2022 Ability to message the benefits of bundling Test & Learn with other Data & Services products
\n\u2022 Strong internal and external communication and influencing skills; Ability to present to senior client audiences and influence large deals
\n\u2022 Ability to seamlessly partner across our Data & Services Sales CBL population
\n\u2022 Excellent problem solving and analytics skills and should be able to go head to head with internal stakeholders and customers alike with fact-based thinking
\n\u2022 Will serve as the face of Mastercard D&S to senior level client stakeholders, including c-suite<\/p>\n

\u2022 12+ years of progressively complex hunting sales within banking and financial institutions sectors; business contacts within C-Level \/ EVP \/ SVP preferred
\n\u2022 Consistent track record of achieving commercial targets through management of a sales team and individual contribution
\n\u2022 Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships based on empathy, thought leadership and subject matter expertise
\n\u2022 Previous experience with revenue management and revenue goal setting
\n\u2022 Deep understanding of the suite of Mastercard Data & Services value propositions with a thoughtful approach to executing within and across markets
\n\u2022 Strong software or data driven solution selling background with success with 12-18+ month sales cycles; never give up attitude, excellent at \u2018pounding the pavement\u2019 through email\/phone cold outreach
\n\u2022 Ability to thrive and build robust individual pipeline with limited lead generation support
\n\u2022 Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence in order to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenues
\n\u2022 Top-level sales skills (internally and externally) combined with strong negotiation capabilities required for large deals<\/p>\n
