Our IET team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production and processing of energy.\u00a0BRUSH\u00a0enhances Baker Hughes portfolio of electromechanical equipment, including electric generators, synchronous condensers, electric motors, and associated control power management systems.<br \/>\n<b>Partner with the best<\/b><\/p>\n<h6 class=\"job-title\" data-ph-id=\"ph-page-element-page8-uiBkRp\"><a href=\"https:\/\/joblagii.com\/company\/baker-hughes\">Field Service Engineers- Generators (Remote)<\/a><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Winding Field Engineer\u00a0is generally responsible for providing electrical and winding repair services to customers operating a wide range of original equipment: generators, motors and ancillary systems.<\/p>\n<p>As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0Complying with OSHA, BRUSH, site specific, and other industry standard health and safety practices having jurisdiction to protect both life and property<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0Interpreting machine performance data, instrumentation readings, test values, specifications, technical requirements, and technical drawings to competently understand job scope requirements and assist in performance of job functions.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Hands on overhauling and cleaning large generators, including the necessary degree of mechanical strip down and re-build.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Performing electrical testing to locate, diagnose and repair winding faults.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Carrying out basic mechanical strip down (and rebuild) of machines to gain access for winding work and carry out in-situ winding repairs and partial \/full rewinds on high and low voltage machine windings.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Composing detailed and concise technical reports for customer acceptance and documentation of work performed while on-site.<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0Attending technical meetings and functions as a liaison between the customer and BRUSH to help ensure the delivery of satisfactory services.<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"job-title\" data-ph-id=\"ph-page-element-page8-uiBkRp\"><a href=\"https:\/\/joblagii.com\/company\/baker-hughes\">Field Service Engineers- Generators (Remote)<\/a><\/h6>\n<p><b>Fuel your passion<\/b><br \/>\nTo be successful in this role you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a technical degree from an accredited school and 2+yrs of field service experience with generator winding experience<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate competencies with tooling such as the following: basic hand tools, multi-meters, megger, rigging, generator special tooling<\/li>\n<li>Have experience with generator high voltage testing such as PI, DC Leakage, and Hipot.<\/li>\n<li>Be experienced with generator rotor and stator robotic test equipment such as RoGIS, MAGIC, and MAGIC Jr.<\/li>\n<li>Be able and available to travel when called upon and on short notice on a regular basis both domestically and internationally 75% &#8211; 85% of the time or as business needs dictate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Work in a way that works for you<\/b><\/p>\n<h6 class=\"job-title\" data-ph-id=\"ph-page-element-page8-uiBkRp\"><a href=\"https:\/\/joblagii.com\/company\/baker-hughes\">Field Service Engineers- Generators (Remote)<\/a><\/h6>\n<p>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
