GENERAL SUMMARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customer Service Representative is responsible for the private fleet administrative functions. Responsibility includes planning, tracking, tracing, and reporting on inbound and outbound dedicated loads. Works with the private fleet on-site team to ensure on time store deliveries, tractor utilization, inbound reverse logistics on time pick up, and driver safety and legal compliance operations.<\/p>\n

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

FLEET CUSTOMER SERVICE REP – Longview<\/a><\/h6>\n

\u00b7 Plan and assign outbound, vendor backhaul, and OVD loads<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Plan and assign rolltainer sweeps and dunnage consolidations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Reporting Function:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Report on time load pick up<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Report on time store delivery<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Report BOL pick up<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Report on tractor utilization<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Report on vendor backhaul pickup and delivery<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Answer and process driver load messages through satellite communications and plan swaps<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Resolve load issues involving bust outs, over weights, and\/or paperwork issues<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Answer telephone calls from drivers, vendors, DCs, SSC and other external sources<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Work with drivers to ensure they understand the delivery documentation , call stores when the delivery is late, monitor load dispatch assignments, and review load optimizing.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficient communication (written and verbal), listening, and interpersonal problem solving skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Knowledge of dedicated transportation operations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 High attention to detail, strong planning, and organization skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7Understands driver logs and hours of service<\/p>\n

\u00b7Proficient in usage of transportation optimization software to perform routing, tendering,scheduling, and shipment tracking<\/p>\n

\u00b7Ability to function in a high-stress environment<\/p>\n

\u00b7Must know MS Office software<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE and\/or EDUCATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Distribution experience preferred.
\nQuality check or audit experience preferred.
\nWarehouse management system applications experience preferred.<\/p>\n

WORKING CONDITIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

FLEET CUSTOMER SERVICE REP – Longview<\/a><\/h6>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business or Logistics preferred, or comparable experience of one to two years in transportation operations for a retailer, manufacturing company, major carrier, or logistics company required.
\nOne to two years customer service experience preferred
\nOne to two years onsite driver dispatch experience preferred
\nOne year Driver Dispatch Management System (satellite dispatch systems) experience (McLeod, TMW, Telogis, Dispatch Tracks, AS400)<\/p>\n
