Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal and external reinsurance operationalization and associated financial booking of reinsurance<\/li>\n<li>Manage operationalization of large complex reinsurance programs<\/li>\n<li>Broker\/Reinsurer reporting including statements\/bordereau<\/li>\n<li>Financial reporting (GAAP\/STAT, Schedule F etc)<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with financial controls unit, internal and external audit on reinsurance<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with FP&amp;A to work on reinsurance budgeting, forecasting, actuals and other analytics<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for key reinsurance finance processes and associated controls<\/li>\n<li>Provide expertise to various internal and external stakeholders through participation in various steering committees.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize and address various broad and individual projects, process improvement and transformation initiatives as they arise<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and recommendations as respects reviewing optimal options and solutions to new and existing issues as they arise by leveraging knowledge of existing constraints<\/li>\n<li>Position interacts with various levels of internal and external individuals and organizations<\/li>\n<li>Expected to create alignment through thought leadership, critical thinking, direction\/context setting and stakeholder communications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/joblagii.com\/company\/aig\">Assistant Director of Reinsurance Finance<\/a><\/h5>\n<p><b>What we\u2019re looking for<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of relevant experience in an insurance\/reinsurance company.
