What to Expect

We are looking for a driven team member to contribute to the development of our Autopilot & Full Self Driving software at Tesla to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. This person labels images & videos that contribute to our deep learning network. In this role you will work with in-house tools to label data coming directly from the Tesla fleet of vehicles.

No previous experience in AI or data labeling required. The perfect candidate for this role is adaptable, can apply logic to multiple different scenarios, is attentive to detail, has experience with computers and other software, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment. This team provides all on-site training to help you be successful in this role.

What You’ll Do

You will use in-house tools to label images for the Autopilot team
Interact with team members to help us improve on the design of an efficient labeling interface
You will gain basic computer vision and machine learning knowledge to better understand how the labels are used by our learning algorithms
Ability to make judgement calls on difficult edge cases that might come up during labeling

What You’ll Bring

Must have a valid driver’s license and knowledge of the roads
Must be reliable, have initiative, and professional with a passion and curiosity about technology
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and prioritize assignments independently and on a team
Able to follow directions, detail-oriented, patient, and quality focused
Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with photo or video editing software is a plus
Available to work on-site schedule between 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Monday-Friday at Tesla and overtime as needed
