We are looking for a director of human resources (partnerships) and labor relations who will lead a group of managers and a dedicated cross-functional team to support partners and leaders in our retail and non-retail environments in labor relations. The function will provide local leaders with the resources they need to lead union activity with dignity and respect for our partners. In addition, the function will collaborate with local leaders and support teams to focus on proactively improving the partner experience across North America by implementing the most significant strategic partner and store initiatives, utilizing analytics and data to generate insights, and advocating for all partners.

  • Working closely with executives and senior leadership to identify needs, define strategy, create action plans, identify deliverables, present results, measure outcomes, and offer suggestions

Knowledge of contract administration, contract negotiation, collective bargaining, grievance procedures, and the relationships between management and labor familiarity with the most recent major employment and labor laws, including the ADA, FMLA, National Labor Relations Act, and Taft-Hartley.

  • develops and implements both reactive and proactive labor relations strategies and plans in close collaboration with organizational leadership, utilizing data and insights to evaluate and motivate action to improve the experience of customers and partners.
  • ensures that inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility are incorporated into practices at all levels and encourages partners to emotionally connect with and embody our Mission and Values. utilizes knowledge of best practices for investigating and resolving workplace complaints and grievances, including best practices for reducing bias during the investigation process.
  • demonstrates personal development through self-awareness and reflection while acting as a balanced advocate for all partners.
  • leads with a growth mindset and is a change agent who sees opportunities and makes changes.

develops and leads a team of managers and partners from different functional areas. Exhibits experience fabricating and overseeing remarkable groups and giving steady criticism to accomplish brings about line with close and long haul key objectives.

We would love to hear from individuals who:

Advanced experience consulting and collaborating with senior leaders on the design, development, and implementation of human resources, labor relations, or employee relations strategies and initiatives, including but not limited to change management, training and development, and performance management (preferred 8 years) Leadership and management skills managing a team with multi-functional accountabilities (preferred 8 years) Progressive experience providing human resources management services in an environment of high growth Experience ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • expertise in launching joint ventures with multiple departments.
  • Experience in project management that can effectively oversee the design, delivery, and outcome stages.
  • demonstrated capacity for time management, task prioritization, independent work, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to cultivate productive partnerships with senior stakeholders.
  • proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications from Microsoft
