At our Baltimore (BWI) station, the Station Services Specialist serves as a resource for administrative requirements, supporting our Purpose. They will help with all personnel functions and record maintenance. They will also look for ways to make the station work better and do things better. The Station Services Specialist is enthusiastic about supporting our People and station and is an organized and detail-oriented thinker.

Responsibilities:
Serves as a primary resource for assisting Leadership and Employees in resolving discrepancies or procedural problems using knowledge of specialized function; Provides friendly service to all internal and external Customers and maintains positive relationships with them; responds to technical administrative inquiries and ensures prompt completion of necessary follow-up. Oversees and applies all station-level staffing, salary, attendance, and leave processes, such as leave tracking and bid management, in accordance with company policy, labor agreements, applicable state and federal law, station communication authorship and distribution, response to customer inquiries and complaints, and meeting minutes, among other things
- Maintains and archives historical records by documenting changes and revisions to materials such as memos, project files, presentations, spreadsheets, and so on. This enables you to identify areas where operational performance and business process can be improved.
- writes operating instructions, memos, meeting minutes, and other documentation to serve as references for users.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrates strong written communication ability Demonstrates experience using Microsoft Office products – proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products is required.
- Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed in this description. May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Clearly defines problems/challenges using various techniques to analyze and weigh alternatives and propose solutions Exhibits the ability to listen actively and attentively, take notes, and organize materials to facilitate meetings Comfortable and articulate delivering formal communication, written and verbal, to various levels of the organization, including Customers, subject matter experts, and Leaders Ability to organize and balance multiple concurrent initiatives/assignments while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery Own small scale projects that may include cross departmental participation Experience is required: High school diploma or GED Licensing/Certification N/A Physical Skills Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, sit, stand, and bend for filing. Ability to work from a limited workspace. Ability to communicate and interact with others in English. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy.
