Full Job Description:

To ensure that our game meets our standard for visual quality, the Lead Rendering Engineer will collaborate closely with our engineering and content teams. We envision that the individual core contributor in this position will initially be responsible for coding, building tools, defining workflows and asset paths, and so on. It will eventually evolve into leading a small group of Core Systems Engineers and Rendering Engineers in order to launch and support the game on Netflix.

You will have experience creating high-quality visuals in Unreal Engine that run at breakneck speeds as our Lead Rendering Engineer. You will be knowledgeable in craftsmanship resource pipelines, shader material creation, and GPU and computer chip streamlining.
Most importantly, you can work with Netflix engineers and external development teams to make sure our workflows are ready to handle the huge amount of assets in a AAA game.

Rendering Requirements:

In a live game environment, develop, improve, and maintain artist workflows and rendering features. Core Systems: Develop, improve, and maintain the game’s core engine technologies Games Development: Develop prototypes and features throughout the engine. Technical Leadership: Managing the team’s right-sized graphics architectural decisions for the success of future products on in-progress technologies and platforms and for rendering prototypes strong capacity to collaborate across disciplines to efficiently arrange workflows and encourage predictability in a space that is prone to change.

Requirements 7+ years of experience shipping multiple AAA games or real-time film workflows Experience shipping one or more products as a rendering engineer with a focus on quality Excellent math skills
Provide vision and leadership on large, complex initiatives Exceptional communication, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and leadership skills Extensive experience with UnrealEngine Passion for playing, incubating, building, and shipping video games NICE TO HAVES Experience working broadly with Unreal Engine (gameplay, UI,
