Job overview

The Mapping Data Assistant is responsible for completing beginning mapping operations including, base map edits assistant, shape drawing, and other GIS related tasks.

The Mapping Data Assistant should have a basic understanding of GIS or previous experience working with other business roles/projects that also use any mapping system/tools.

Mapping Data Assistant

Responsibilities:

– Providing support and assistance to internal and external clients to update data and information.
– Provide assistance in the area of imagery and mapping data with attention and exceptional quality and accuracy.
– Support the use of mapping tools and knowledge to continuously improve map accuracy and edits.
– Supporting the implementation of quality control tools and answering key quality questions about images.
– Inserting important mapping metadata and other information as requested, with high precision.
