Lower 48 Overview
The Lower 48 represents the largest ConocoPhillips business segment today based on production, with high-quality positions in the U.S. unconventionals. These low cost of supply and low GHG-intensity assets have significant upside potential.
The company’s large Lower 48 position of 10.3 million net acres, including unconventional holdings of approximately 1.7 million net acres, represents scalable inventory with low cost of supply and low GHG emissions intensity with the potential to generate significant returns over many years of future development. Current major focus areas for the Lower 48 include the Delaware and Midland Basins, part of the world-class Permian Basin, as well as the Eagle Ford and Bakken.
GCR Supply Chain Coordinator – Lower 48
Description
As Supply Chain Coordinators, we develop and implement supply chain strategies through sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management as part of the O&M Supply Chain team.
If you are selected as the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for liaising with O&M Engineering and Operations teams to develop and implement robust supply chain strategies that address key commercial and technical needs of the business.
This position can be based in Houston, Texas or Kenedy, Texas.
Job Description
GCR Supply Chain Coordinator – Lower 48
Responsibilities may include:
- Plan, execute, control and monitor supply chain activities with the objective of creating new value
- Develop category strategies based on knowledge of category specific market conditions
- Lead all Request for Proposal (RFP) processes in adherence to the Supply Chain Standard to deliver value-driven commercial solutions
- Negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions using Master Service Agreements, Compensation Agreements, Service Orders, Purchase Orders, and other contractual documents for the purchase of materials and services
- Provide a strong mix of critical thinking and tactical support through supplier performance management
- Develop, maintain, and implement Supplier Performance Management Plans for key suppliers
- Maintain collaboration with other Completion Supply Chain counterpart(s) to ensure sourcing/contracting strategy alignment and consistency
- Ensure all activities are conducted as per ConocoPhillips Supply Chain Standards
- Collaborate with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) to ensure suppliers follow the ConocoPhillips HSE Standards
- Maintain an attitude of diversity and inclusion to ensure that all perspectives are considered in the execution of supply chain work

Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- 1+ years of supply chain, business, or related technical experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
- 3+ years of supply chain, business, or related technical experience
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Tactical and strategic thinking skills
