Through the travel ribbon, Airport Customer Service (ASC) and Cargo (CGO) have a direct impact on Delta’s customers as part of the Customer Experience unit. Ground Safety at the Co-Op – Airport Customer Service (ACS) ensures the safety and well-being of our employees and customers by developing programs and services that promote continuous improvement and ensuring the safety and dependability of our equipment.

Assurance – Ensures system-wide standardization in the areas of ground operating policies and procedures as well as responsibility for quality assurance/control/compliance of ACS Below Wing and Cargo Risk.
Addresses and corrects safety hazards through Delta’s Safety Management System (SMS), which relies on active employee participation as a critical step in the hazard identification process.
Assurance – Supports stations worldwide by maintaining compliance with all domestic and foreign regulatory agencies while also assisting stations to prepare for internal (DL

Work with project leaders to collect data for the evaluation of the most recent safety technology. Communicate with station leadership to assist with investigations. Proactively lead safety initiatives and solutions throughout the business.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

• Preferably working toward a bachelor’s degree in aviation safety, industrial engineering, data analytics, occupational health and safety, or another related field.

You must be available for three consecutive semesters
You must have a strong desire to learn and ask questions
You must be able to think critically and take initiative with new idea
You must be willing to occasionally travel
