Role: Chief, Manageability:
As Chief, Manageability, you will be essential for a cross divisional work to think up the procedure, biological system and responsibilities to scale the SAF creation required for Delta to meet its environment responsibilities. You will also be in charge of aligning Delta’s SAF, SBTi, and other Sustainability metric reporting with new stakeholder and regulatory expectations in this position; determining and keeping track of key ESG topic-specific key performance indicators (KPIs); and working with investors and other stakeholders to better align stakeholder expectations with the focus and reporting of the company.
Principal Purposes:
Working cross-divisionally (Fuel, Sales, Legal, Government Affairs, Finance) to develop a SAF strategy and carry out short-term and long-term SAF projects. In charge of developing go-to-market strategies and supervising the deployment of new SAF market-making activities. Building a coalition of partners who are committed to using SAF to achieve sustainability goals.
Secure, spur an interest, and investigate elective assets to extend the SAF impression.
Coordinate and lead SAF programs like: long-term offsets, building on SAF fundamentals, mandates, customer engagement programs, and technical projects. Execute a portfolio of all market-based CO2 measures, including voluntary offsets, CORSIA, Scope 1, 2, and 3 data, and other compliance schemes. Lead work on setting and tracking climate-related goals and keeping up with changing trends and requirements (such as SBTi). Represent the sustainability team on industry and expert committees.
- Maintain responsibility for deliverables and timelines, shifting priorities as necessary, and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Responsive and agile in a fast-paced, highly visible environment. Support preparation of agendas, topics, and materials for Board and other executive meetings in conjunction with other business leaders.
