As a Ramp Agent, you will collaborate with a creative group whose common objective is to guarantee the timely and safe delivery of our customers’ baggage and cargo in order to enhance their overall experience. A shift of 20 to 40 hours per week will be assigned to Ramp Customer Service Agents. Bending, stooping, twisting, standing, and walking are all part of the job. Work involves doing the same things over and over again, like loading and stacking bags, as well as working in tight spaces and on one knee for a long time in aircraft bins. These tasks will occasionally be completed in severe weather (heat, rain, and snow, to name a few).

The following is a list of responsibilities, but not all of them:

  • Lift, load, unload, and safely transport cargo, mail, and baggage to and from aircraft. You also have to make sure connections are made on time by directing incoming and outgoing aircraft from the gate positions.
  • Protect mail, baggage, and cargo from weather and damage.
  • driving and operating ground equipment safely in congested areas, such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors.
  • Lift and load luggage multiple times onto carts to ensure that each bag reaches its destination.
  • Use computers and baggage scanners to make sure that the passenger’s bags and cargo get to where they need to go.
