Full Job Description:

All of Hobby Lobby’s 950+ retail locations across the country receive, store, and ship merchandise through Hobby Lobby Distribution. There is only one Hobby Lobby Distribution Center, with multiple buildings sharing a single campus.

• The acquisition of Hobby Lobby Distribution’s supplies and equipment is the responsibility of the Purchasing Department
• We currently require a Purchasing Manager.

Recommend and implement improvements to processes for distribution of supplies Coordinate receiving and invoicing of orders with Transportation, Warehouse, and Accounting Report purchasing and inventory to the department head This position may directly supervise employees Job Description –

Requirements Skills And Experience A good understanding of material handling equipment and industrial machinery is preferred Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and payment terms Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage inventory Ability to develop spreadsheets for inventory and reporting
