What you’ll be doing:

Passenger tickets can be issued, reissued, and refunded. Flight reservations can be booked, ticketed, and confirmed. Passengers can be rebooked on overbooked flights and during irregular operations. Passengers can check in and have their seats assigned (except curbside), and they can get upgrades and vouchers for hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation. Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing at ticket counters Queue lines at ticket counter kiosks and ticket counters Clear/verify international documents at kiosks in the ticket counter area and activation stations Accept and activate passengers’ self-tagged bags at activation stations Assist customers needing special assistance or in-station; assist in boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulant passengers, passengers requiring special assistance, and/or unaccompanied minors. Perform customer service tasks related to the management of regional flights and contractor/ground handling agreements or contracts. Maintain a regular and predictable presence on the premises, including meeting any overtime requirements that are required.
- Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with American’s guidelines. Respond to and assist passengers during security and/or emergency situations.
- Follow the company’s rules, procedures, and standards for performance.
- Adhere to government regulations (such as DOT, FAA, and TSA), complete job-related training, utilize multiple internal resources and systems, and adhere to company policy regarding uniforms. * Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities who meet certain criteria.

Assist international passengers through customs and immigration, including baggage recheck, Deliver boarding passes, international flight documents, and customs/immigration forms All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Prior Job Experience High school diploma or GED or international equivalent Bilingual language skills required in some locations Valid driver’s license as required by local authorities Must pass FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to secure
