Full Job Description:

Employer-related federal, state, and local laws and ordinances that may have an impact on the Company should be researched, followed, and tracked; When you learn of new or amended laws or regulations, notify Legal and get legal advice; For matters pertaining to employment-related compliance, draft memoranda, policies, protocols, and training materials; Impart actually and briefly with leaders, the board, workers, and merchants on business related consistence matters;

Examine the company’s procedures, policies, and protocols in light of the laws and regulations that currently apply to employment;
Serve as a subject matter expert on leave, benefits, and HR compliance;

Work with other departments to implement, audit, and deal with compliance-related issues; and collaborate with and direct Project Coordinators and/or Project Supervisors in their efforts to implement.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or six to ten years of experience in human resources, benefits, or leave;
Knowledge of benefits, leave, and/or human resources, including the following:
Compliance with benefits plans (e.g., ERISA, IRS, HIPAA, ACA) and federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FLSA), paid sick leave, and other laws pertaining to leaves; resiliency and comfort taking initiative;
Writing and speaking skills that are confident, concise, and accurate;
Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
aptitude for multitasking and adaptability to shifting priorities;
excellent communication skills;
ability to solve problems, think critically, and analyze; and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Favorite Experience:

experience in multiple states;
the ability to write and edit policies and manuals for employees;
Working knowledge of SAP and Kronos; and experience in training as well as presenting data to internal departments.
