This position offers room for growth and participation in company-wide creations as a growing company. The starting wage is $18.50 an hour, which is negotiable based on experience. The work week is Monday through Friday. Business Systems Specialists I work closely with the IT department to create a link between company programming, system applications, and data that gives Hobby Lobby’s internal customers and vendors the tools they need to succeed. I also collaborate with and serve the Executive and Buying departments.

• Evaluate the necessities of purchasers and work together with colleagues to track down inventive arrangements.

Serve as the liaison for the Buying Team with the Information Systems department and external vendors for system-related issues and the development of new systems.

• In a culture of continuous improvement, research, analyze, adapt, and troubleshoot software to improve internal systems.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on new application development.

• Participate in product demonstrations for both large and small groups as well as training seminars.
• Skills and Microsoft Office proficiency are required, as are previous experience with the following applications:

• Experience using or creating wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows is a plus. Working with SQL is also required.
