Full Job Description:

Operations Analytics co-ops will collaborate with experts in analytics to support one of the following departments or functions:

Flight Operations (FOP) – Aircraft and gate-to-gate operations and performance In Flight Services (IFS) – Customer onboard experience and catering operations and performance Operations & Customer Center (OCC) – On-time flight metrics Technical Operations (TOP) – Maintenance operations Although individual responsibilities will vary by function, some examples are provided below:

Research, analyze, and interpret operational data Create new reports and automate existing ones Perform reliability/root-cause analysis for parts and maintenance
Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of key operational metrics including aircraft time at gate, gating efficiency, and feasibility of aircraft schedules
Seek operational improvements to reduce aircraft taxi time and flight time Maintain, run, and improve staffing models to support airport operations
Provide strategic and operational support and develop performance metrics and goals Develop success factors and statistical evaluations of new procedures and systems Consistently prioritizes safety and security
accepts a wide range of people, perspectives, and styles.
possesses a GED, high school equivalency, or high school diploma.
possesses authorization to work in the United States and is at least 18 years old.
